Remember when you would get frozen bananas dipped in chocolate at the amusement parks or fairs when you were younger?
I loved those things. I have never understood why some people don’t like bananas because I think they are one of the greatest fruits ever.
God did real good when He created bananas.
Anyways, this dessert does not even deserve to really have a recipe because it’s literally 2 ingredients
Just 4 of these little banana slices bring me back to my younger days enjoying a lovely frozen banana on a stick And they don’t kill your healthy diet because they are under 100 calories!
When you make them, just portion them into Ziploc bags and freeze so that you can enjoy 4 little bites whenever you have a chocolate craving!
Frozen Banana Bites
makes 4 servings
2 medium bananas, sliced into 8 pieces
1 bar (3.5 oz) of dark chocolate
1. Freeze the banana slices for 1-2 hours.
2. Melt the dark chocolate in a double broiler until smooth. Working in batches, dunk a couple of slices into the chocolate and remove with a fork, letting excess chocolate drip off. Transfer the coated slices onto a cooling rack with paper towels underneath.
3. Once the chocolate hardens, portion the banana bites into individual Ziploc bags (4 slices into each bag) and return to freezer to store until ready to enjoy.
