I’ve said this a few times but I’m not a big fan of eggs.
I don’t know what it is, but I can’t really get over the texture.
That’s probably not the best way to introduce this recipe but this is one of my few exceptions to not liking eggs! The method for cooking these eggs is awesome, you simply mix your eggs and whatever else you want in a bowl and then seal it in a Ziploc bag and drop it into boiling water for 10-14 minutes.

When I’m at home, we seem to make these all the time. They are super easy to make and are a fun family meal because everyone gets to customize their own. It is especially fun to have them for a breakfast-themed dinner (my personal favorite dinner). Image may be NSFW.

After making a TON of Ziploc omelettes in my day, this chicken Florentine version that I came up with is by far my favorite! I just love spinach lately, whats up with that?! Anyway, I hope you get to try this omelette out, or your own variation! It’s such a cool and easy way to cook eggs.

Chicken Florentine “Ziploc Omelette”
serves 1
3 eggs, whites only
1/4 cup baby spinach
1/4 cup chopped chicken
dash of cayenne pepper
2 tbsp chopped onion
1/4 of a sweet pepper, chopped
1/4 cup shredded mozzarella
1. Mix all of the ingredients together and pour into a sandwich sized Ziploc bag. Try to get as much air as you can out of the bag before sealing it up.
2. Drop into a large pot of boiling water and let cook for 10-14 minutes. Remove the bag from the water and shake the omelette out of the bag and onto a plate. Enjoy!
