Here’s my obligatory first post :)

My name is Sara Ann Burroughs

I’m a college student studying nursing

I love coffee, bulldogs, playing the ukulele, and Jesus (but not in that order)

I named this blog The Sophomore because I love the contradicting Greek words it originates from. Sophos means wise, while moros means foolish. Being a sophomore is something we never quite graduate from. It’s part of our sin nature to make a foolish mistake every once in a while (some more often than others), but those mistakes can turn into an opportunity to gain wisdom if you let them.

This blog is a part life, part thoughts blog. I hope to share some of what’s going on in my life, but also my thoughts on certain subjects and the things I have learned so far about them.
